Ledger Management

execution

1Select a Customer from the dropdown (e.g., "City Autos").
2The system shows their Current Balance (e.g., Dr 50,000).
3Create the Invoice.
4Leave Cash Received as 0 (or partial amount).
5The remaining total is added to their Ledger.

Receiving Payment

1Go to Sales > Payments (Recoveries).
2Select Customer.
3Enter Amount Received.
4This reduces their debit balance.

Ledger Management

For regular dealers, you don't always take cash. You sell on credit ("Udhaar").

Ensure you set a Credit Limit for customers to prevent excessive debt accumulation.

When they pay you later:

1Go to Sales > Payments (Recoveries).
2Select Customer.
3Enter Amount Received.
4This reduces their debit balance.
